SEATTLE – The University of Washington department of intercollegiate athletics confirmed details around three fan engagement events prior to the 2018 Huskies Football Season. Husky Picture Day, Raise the Woof and the Season Ticket Holder open scrimmage will all provide special opportunities for Washington fans to interact with the UW football program in anticipation of the upcoming season.

A longtime fan tradition, Husky Picture Day, is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 11. Picture Day offers fans the chance to view an open practice and take a picture with their favorite Dawgs at Husky Stadium. Fans are invited to watch practice from 3-5 p.m., and are then welcomed onto the field to interact with Husky Football student-athletes and coaches. Gates open at 2:45 p.m. Parking* and admission is free to all.

As an added benefit, season ticket holders are also invited to catch the football team scrimmage beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18 inside Husky Stadium.

Raise the Woof, the Kickoff Celebration of Husky Football, serves as a final fan rally prior to the season's kickoff and showcases the 2018 Huskies in a unique light. Held in the Dempsey Indoor Practice Facility on Saturday, Aug. 25, Raise the Woof features a barbecue dinner, hosted beer, wine and soft drinks, and a program featuring Coach Petersen & the 2018 Washington Football team. Click here for more information or to register today.
